- Avoid the use of solariums (4 weeks prior)
- Avoid skin treatments to the treatment area such as skin needling, chemical peels and resurfacing treatments (2 weeks prior), and Advanced Brightening and Clearing Peel and Anti-Ageing Peel (4 weeks prior)
- Avoid the use of tanning drugs such as Melanotan II (6 months prior)
- Avoid the application of makeup (24 hours)
- Avoid direct heat or very hot showers (2 days)
- Avoid rubbing, picking or scratching at the skin (2 days)
- Avoid wearing tight, irritating or restrictive clothing on the areas treated (2 days)
- Use your recommended Skinstitut products as instructed by your therapist including Skinstitut Laser Aid post cooling gel on all treatment areas (3 days)
- Avoid active topicals such as Vitamin A creams and retinols (3 days)
