Most clients know the Splendor X as a hair removal laser. Fewer know that the same BLEND X® dual-wavelength platform — the combination of Alexandrite 755nm and Nd:YAG 1064nm — is a highly versatile skin treatment device used across dermatology clinics and aesthetic practices worldwide.

The Alexandrite 755nm wavelength has a high affinity for melanin, making it excellent for targeting pigmented lesions (sun spots, age spots, freckles). The long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064nm targets haemoglobin in blood vessels, making it one of the gold-standard tools for thread veins, facial redness, and vascular lesions. Together, they can be configured for photorejuvenation — improving skin tone and texture through a single treatment session.

Because the Splendor X is already at Radiant Skin House for laser hair removal, we can offer these additional treatments to clients without requiring a separate device visit.

The long-pulsed Nd:YAG 1064nm wavelength is one of the most clinically established tools for vascular lesions. It selectively targets haemoglobin in the vessel wall, generating heat that causes the vessel to collapse and be reabsorbed — while surrounding skin remains undisturbed.

The Alexandrite 755nm wavelength is highly selective for melanin — making it highly effective at targeting the concentrated melanin in superficial pigmented lesions while leaving surrounding skin largely unaffected. The lesion absorbs the energy and gradually lifts away over 1–2 weeks.

Melasma (hormonally triggered pigmentation) requires careful assessment — laser treatment may not be appropriate and can worsen some melasma patterns. We will advise honestly at consultation.
